• Project manage major ICT system projects based in Canberra, ACT
a result of planned growth across our Intelligence, Surveillance and
Reconnaissance business, we require an energetic and committed Project Manager
to join the team.  As the Project Manager you will be responsible for
ensuring that the technical, cost and schedule goals associated with the
assigned projects are achieved in accordance with the contractual and company
requirements in order to deliver required business performance. This pivotal
role will see you lead a team spread across sites in Canberra, Sydney, and
Adelaide to deliver essential Support Services to the Air Component – Command
and Control Capability System.  Working closely with the customer, the
Commonwealth of Australia, you will be required to maintain strong customer
relationships and have experience in complex stakeholder management. More
specifically, you will:
• Manage
the AC-C2CS Support Services contract
• Manage the Support Services Management Plan and master schedule
• Update monthly technical review agenda and minutes
• Coordinate contract status review  reports, agenda and minutes
• Work closely with engineering, quality and commercial resources to
ensure contract deliverables are maintained and delivered in accordance with
the master schedule
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at the Command and
Intelligence Systems Support Office (CISSO), the Air Operations Centre (AOC)
and Head Quarters Air Command
• Manage and maintain relationships with key subcontractors who provide
support services
• Maintain relationships with other contractors who provide support
services to CISSO
• Work with the customer to strategically discuss new business
opportunities, generate new orders and deliver
• Manage multiple stakeholders
• Develop minor bids in response to customer survey and quote requests
• Manage technical and non-technical resources
• Be responsible for the financial management of the project

As the ideal applicant, you will have:

• Sound
experience or exposure to engineering or project management
• Strong and proven track record in task management and coordination
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Superior time management ability
• The ability to travel interstate frequently
not essential, experience on the Air Component Command and Control Capability
Systems support contract will be a distinct advantage.
Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be
Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality
may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
