RMIT School of Architecture + Design, is a multi-disciplinary design school.

scholarship. Our design mission is founded on tri-polar, curated and vertically
integrated scholarship.
The School of Architecture and Design is launching a new Master of Disaster,
Design and Development (MODDD) coursework program in 2016. Developed in close
collaboration with the International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC), this
program is the first of its kind and provides a global learning platform
connecting students with industry developments, area specialists and current
practices. The program delivers specialised knowledge and practical skills
drawn from a range of practitioners, academics and industry leaders, such as
IFRC and UN-Habitat on disaster simulations and projects.
This Masters program sits within the discipline of Landscape Architecture at
RMIT, as the new addition to a suite of programs that include the Bachelor of
Landscape Architectural Design (3 years) and Master of Landscape Architecture
(2 years).
The Lecturer, will be challenged to contribute to the teaching and research
efforts of RMIT Landscape Architecture, with a particular focus on teaching and
research activities related to MODDD. More specifically, the Lecturer will
deliver courses within the field of humanitarian design, development,
environment and climate change, and will be responsible for coordination and
teaching and for maintaining and advancing their scholarly, research and
professional capabilities relevant to the discipline and subject areas taught.
The Lecturer, will have demonstrated excellence, knowledge and expertise in the
humanitarian sector as well as in online teaching, curriculum development and
projects.
