In Rwanda, BBOXX has been mainly
operating in the Northern Province with a Hub in Musanze and 10 shops. We are
extending our operations to the Southern Province opening a new Hub which will
be based in Nyanza District.

Job Description-
Title: Hub Manager
Reports to: Managing Director
Location: Hub and Field
Purpose: Ensures the Hub is a
profitable business: motivates and manages sales agents, oversees Hub logistics
(including customer service), controls costs, and monitors customer payments to
direct activities of agents and PPOs to ensure customers pay

Responsibilities:
- Manage
a monthly budget for Hub operations - Ensure
the business complies with local regulations - Ensuring
clients progress through the payment plan: - Motivate
and manage agents i.e. Train new sales agents, hold bi-weekly meeting with
agents to process logistics (i.e. collect application forms), pay
commissions, and provide feedback and Update the agent sales tracking
board - Perform
sizing for bigger systems that may come through - Visit
every shop once every two weeks to check on operations of the shop - Responsible
for ERP accounts and cash level at the hub - Pay
sale agents in cash monthly. Use CRM data to make calculations – must
check installation reports too. Invoice issued in the ERP.
Description of tasks
- Expense
approval (some expenses paid from Kigali, office bills, etc) - Tracking
who has key to the stock room - Cross-check
installation reports against sales to make sure we have them. - Check
on cash balance at shops, repatriate the surplus to the hub, takes copies
of receipts and makes manual copy of new entries in the Replacement Log
book into the Hub manager log book.

when Hub Manager is not there? - Supervise

Person specification
Ideal candidate should havea degree in
Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and Management or in any other
related field and may have previously worked in a middle management position
for 3 years.

- Self-motivated
– feels responsible for the business’s success, and does not sit in the
office waiting to be told what to do - Proficient
at using computers for reporting - Some
technical background – need to be able to do an installation well, and
know if the technician is lying - Organized
and stays on top of things; a bit of a micro-manager – does not forget
when an installation is overdue, a faulty product has been waiting for
repair for a week, a customer’s payment is coming due, etc. - Good
