Psychosocial Counsellor – MSF –France Chiradzulu
Medecins Sans Frontieres is a private, non profit international humanitarian
organisation working together with Ministry of Health in Chiradzulu District
HIV Program
The Psychosocial Counsellor will be responsible for Providing
education/counselling support to ART patients with High Viral Load as well as
mentor other counsellors for them to be able to handle complicated counselling
cases
Work locations Will work in Chiradzulu District, visit of 11 health facilities
supported by MSF, Working hours are 7: 30 am to 4 : 30 pm with one hour lunch
break
1 yr contract with 3 months probation period, salary based on MSF-F salary grid
plus allowances
Candidate should be available as soon as possible
Holder of a Malawi HTC Certificate (preferably) or Malawi Certificate of
Education, 2 yrs and above, experience in providing Education/Counselling
Support in an HIV/TB multi-discipline project, Ability to coach or mentor
another staff, Previous experience with MSF in the same field as an added
advantage
