The
Role
Role
As
a Disability Support Worker within our Accommodation Services, you will be
supporting our clients with various support needs in all aspects of their daily
life. This will involve assisting with personal care, meal preparation and
feeding, administering medications, domestic support, transporting clients on
outings and to medical appointments, assisting in the individual planning
process of clients’ goals as well as community participation and engagement.

services operate 24 hours, 7 days a week and this role you will be required to
work a variety of morning, afternoon, sleepover and active night shifts.

Criteria
Essential
- Current
First Aid Certificate - Current
NSW drivers licence - Current
Working with Children’s check - Experience
working in a direct support role with people with disability - Experience
supporting people with mental health - Experience
supporting people with behaviours of concern
Advantageous
- Certificate
III or IV in Disability Services/ Community Welfare/ Mental Health - Experience
working as a Key Worker - Experience
working in an Accommodation Services
