Outreach Clinical Officer
Manage client flow at outreach clinics and assist in
preparing clients for procedures, Provide FP (including BTL ad Vasectomy) and
HIV services according to PSI Malawi service delivery protocols during outreach
clinics, Ensure that client counseling and education standards, including
contraceptive choice, are adhered to at all times, Appropriately manage and
refer complications
and/or adverse events reported during outreach clinics,
Ensure the equipment for family planning (FP) procedures is cleaned and
sterilised in line with set infection prevention standards and regulations
3 yrs of experience in performing family planning procedures, Diploma in
Clinical Medicine with strong surgical skills, Registered with Medical Council
of Malawi, Experience in handling gynaecological cases, Experience in
long-acting and permanent contraceptive methods desirable, Skills to analyse,
interpret and assist to solve difficult problems arising from the
organisation’s cultural diversity, Be self starter, effective team player
