To contribute to the effective implementation of
a Food Security and Disaster
Adaption project in Chikwawa, The role provides an excellent opportunity for an
enthusiastic professional who would like to enhance his or her career in Food
Security and Disaster Management, The incumbent shall take lead in: community
mobilization, training of beneficiary community members, monitoring of project
activities, capturing and consolidation of key lessons learnt, collaboration
with other stakeholders at community level and timely reporting
3 to 5 yrs of professional experience in the implementation of Food Security
and DRR programs, Experience with facilitation of community based projects will
be an added advantage, A degree in Agriculture or any related Social Studies
preferred, Experience working closely with churches and civil society organizations,
building partnerships and facilitating skills exchange, Excellent writing,
verbal and organizational skills and an attention to detail, Ability to work
independently and to set and meet goals in fast-paced environment and to
prioritise accordingly, Team spirit and collegial and respectful working style,
Must be a committed Christian, Must ride a motorcycle and possess a valid
motorcycle licence
