Asset Liability Manager – Standard Bank, Finance
Department – Lilongwe
Reporting to the Treasurer, the successful candidate will be responsible for
maintain the asset and liability (ALM) business process as a strategic
value-adding activity and ensuring that ALM responsibilities are managed and
executed effectively
A Bachelors Degree in Economics or Finance fro
m a recognized university ( A
Masters Degree in either of the 2 field will be an added advantage), 5 yrs
managerial experience in a treasury role in the financial services industry,
Sound knowledge of ALM and treasury management strategies, Knowledge of
financial markets and economic fundamentals, Knowledge of treasury, retail,
corporate and capital markets, Strong problem solving, planning and decision
making skills, Strong presentation and facilitation skills and ability to
communicate with impact, Strategic leadership and management skills
Execution and monitoring of ALM strategic and tactical management
responsibilities, Liquidity management, Capital management, Budgeting and
forecasting, Prepare value-adding proposals and analysis papers
