We are currently seeking an
experienced Engineer who will be responsible for product application engineering
for various industrial applications of diesel and gas engines. Based at our
Perth branch and reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will dually work
closely with our sales team and customers to provide technical expertise in the
parts and system design of engineering tools and processes. Other key

Offering engineering expertise to our sales team from tender phase through to
installation

Define Cummins engine specifications to meet customer requirements

Design new components and systems for integrating Cummins products in customer
equipment using depth of engineering knowledge & processes

Conduct and document engine installation in customer equipment and equipment
performance test to assess compliance to customer requirements.

to overcome issues during installation review phase

The successful candidate will
be tertiary qualified with Mechanical Engineering Degree, and possess at least
3 years’ application engineering experience within the field of diesel and gas
engines. An understanding of root-cause analysis tools like Fault Tree Analysis
and DFMEA as well as good working knowledge of J1939 standard are also
essential requisites. Further, you will have an unwavering commitment to
customer service and workplace safety, which are complemented by your
outstanding communication skills and ability to effectively multitask.
Self-motivated and highly organized, you must also be willing to travel
frequently both within Western Australia and occasionally interstate/overseas.
