Key
Responsibilities:
Activities for this
role include but are not limited to the following:
PRODUCTION

Independently
produce video content
Produce
a variety of multimedia assets including Photos / Illustrations / animated
GIFS/ Sound clips / Gigapans for www.ercshowcase.com,
www.earthrangers.com and www.earthrangers.org
Assist
with pre-production planning including: booking of talent, organizing film
permitting, location scouting and coordination of prop and rental
equipment
Take an
active role during video shoots including: camera operation, sound
recording, lightning, talent management etc.

Support
Multimedia Designer:

Source
still images, video footage, music and sound effects for PSAs,
videos, school outreach program, community shows
Prep
& synch source material, create rough assembly
Archive
content library

PHOTOGRAPHY
Independently carry
out the following photography assignments:

Earth
Rangers School Outreach Program
Earth
Rangers events and sponsor events
Bring
Back the Wild conservation project field updates

PRINT SHOP:

Prepare
print files and operate large format printer using the Versa-Cam software
Inventory
Management of printing supplies and paper stock
Service
and maintain printer on a regular basis
Print
production/finishing of collateral for various Earth Rangers programs
Creation
and installation of interior and exterior Earth Rangers Centre for
Sustainability signage

MARKETING

Source
and research new vendors and acquire product samples. Request quotes from
vendors, adhering to 3 competitive quote policy
Responsible
for the delivery of print and multimedia files to vendors and assist with
approvals
Manage
inventory of all marketing collateral, premiums and e-store products
Assist
in management of the e-store including customer service issues, ordering
of inventory and fulfillment
Assist
in the sourcing of photos and video footage for all marketing deliverables
Assist
with budget tracking and accounting (request PO#, payment of invoices
etc.)
Organize
and on-going maintenance of internal media drive on Earth Rangers server
Assist
in gathering research and competitive analysis of market

Membership
Program:

Responsible
for uploading Earth Rangers membership kits data list on a bi-weekly basis
to fulfillment house and trouble shoot any issues
Manage
the inventory for membership kits and membership cards

DESIRED
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Post-secondary
education in broadcast production and video filming and editing
Dynamic
and creative personality with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal
skills
Ability
to work independently and with minimum supervision in a team environment
Highly
organized, exhibiting effective time management and task prioritization
based on urgency and importance
High
attention to accuracy and detail and strong proofreading and editing
skills
Must
have the ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing, exciting
environment
