Branch Manager – Lilongwe – MCCL Limited
Manage the day to day running of the Lilongwe Branch operations and oversee the
delivery of a quality service to the Company’s clients, Direct, promote and
coordinate branch operations is a manner that will increase the market share of
the Company, improve MCCL’s efficiency, help improve the company’s mission and
goals and result in outstanding customer
service, Responsible for meeting Key
Performance Objectives of the branch, He/she will work with eh Chief Operations
Officer and the Managing Director in meeting the objectives and recording them
in the form of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at branch level, Develop and
implement branch and company’s annual marketing plan, direct branch marketing
activities, and develop and execute an annual marketing program, Manage the
Lilongwe Branch budget and overall company marketing budgets, Authorising
branch expenditure, monitoring and reporting on expenditure, Continuously
manage administrative
functions to ensure quality and timeliness, manage accurate and timely
operations and marketing activity as well as performance and complete client
and prospect database, Prepare and submit all required operations reports to
management within stipulated time limits, Establish and achieve branch
profitability goals and increase branch’s market share through focused and
regular marketing efforts, Keep abreast of current trends and professional
developments n marketing, the company industry and its key sectors, and
effectively build and maintain partnerships with clients, prospects and people
at all levels across the company, the target market and industry, manage MCCL’s
online presence including social media management to exploit advertising
opportunities thereon, implement and expand a new social media strategy to
raise MCCL’s profile and market the Company’s activities, Lead on the
development and monitoring of MCCL’s brad guidelines and key
messages, Adhere to support and effectively implement Administration and board
policy, procedures, and Core Values, and communicate them to Staff and to
customers, Prepare for, attend and participate actively in meetings, as
schedules and assigned by the upward chain of command, Perform additional tasks
and assignments, as required by the upward chain of command, which moves from
the Branch manager, to the Chief Operations Officer, to the Managing
Director
Educated to Degree level or relevant qualification in Marketing or Business
Administration or logistics or Operations Science, At least 3 yrs senior level
experience working in marketing or operations within the key industries covered
by the Company’s core business activities, Proven track record on results
achievement and experience managing sales and operations teams with
demonstrated new sales track record and target attainment, Ability to work in a
busy environment and manage a varied workload, A good knowledge of the national
and regional media, Excellent administrative skills and knowledge required at
line management level, Experience of setting and managing budgets, An excellent
communicator, both written and verbally with a creative approach, Demonstrated
ability to take the initiative and work independently and as part of a team at
Company level and showing leadership at branch level, as well as to evaluate
and balance team and individual
workloads through effective time management, prioritisation and organisational
skills, Demonstrates unquestionable integrity in every aspect of work and
dealing with others, and consistently models desired behaviours and values
established by the company
