The

research project teams and programs and fostering a vibrant research culture.
The successful candidate will be required to develop a high-quality and
productivity-driven research network across RMIT and with external national and
global partners and will have proven ability to sustain and grow Research
Groups and Centres through the attraction of external funding. This role is
also responsible for teaching and making a significant contribution to teaching
and learning in the discipline with the aim of improving learning outcomes for
students. As such, it is essential for the incumbent to have expertise in
leading improvement of academic standards, including implementing best practice
teaching strategies and dissemination of innovative practices. The Professor

the School, taking on major academic leadership roles involving participation

University-wide initiative and effective membership of a management team that
developed and achieved shared goals and objectives together with a PhD or
equivalent in a relevant field and demonstrated distinction at the national
level and an internationally recognised research track record.
With
a College-wide focus on building research capacity around Global Business
Innovation, academic staff working within the People, Organisations and
Performance research sub-platform focus on the leadership and management of
people in the workplace, as well as the wider economic, political, social and
cultural environment in which organisations operate. Researchers from a variety
of disciplines explore such issues as diversity, skills and human resource
development, and the links to effective performance. The latter include
financial, operational, and organisational sustainability, employee commitment
and economic and employee wellbeing.
