Electrical and Instrumentation work on the Gorgon Project on Barrow
Island, Western Australia. The contract has an estimated value of $2 billion
and is scheduled for completion in 2015.

awarded a contract by Chevron Australia Pty Ltd for the Mechanical,
Electrical and Instrumentation work on the Gorgon Project on Barrow
Island, Western Australia. The contract has an estimated value of $2 billion
and is scheduled for completion in 2015.
The
contract scope of work includes the structural, mechanical, piping, electrical,
instrumentation and commissioning support for th
e construction of three LNG
trains (with a total capacity 15 million tonnes per annum), including
associated utilities and a domestic gas processing and compression plant.
CKJV is
currently seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors that will be required to
work a 26/9 FIFO rotation on Barrow Island.
Reporting
to the Superintendents these roles are responsible for:
- Proactively
managing health, safety, environment, and quality issues.
- Good
electrical knowledge. - Monitoring,
driving and reporting on work and productivity progress.
- Implementing
all project specific procedures and policies.
- Encouraging
and rewarding positive employee behaviour. - Monitor
and control progress of construction work within the schedule for the
assigned area.
- Organise
and direct the work force to accomplish construction in an efficient,
effective and safe manner. - Co-ordinate
works with other supervisors, contracts and sub-contractors on a daily
basis to minimise work interferences.
To be
successful you will possess:
- Proven
track record in a similar role; - Hands
on experience in a Supervisory role (at least 2 years);
- Oil
and Gas Construction Experience (at least 1-2 years);
- Relevant
electrical qualifications; - Excellent
negotiation and communication skills; - Sound
knowledge of MS Office programs;
