POSITION DETAILS

Remuneration: $47,500-72,499, commensurate with qualifications and benefits

POSITION PURPOSE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will help support the Financials team in its mission to
provide a high level of product quality to its clients, through the
development of responsible investment and sustainability related
products.
• Establish yourself as an ESG expert and industry lead for Financial
Service companies;
• Analyze the ESG performance of high-profile companies to be
published in the Sustainalytics Platform;
• Ensure quality of research utilizing industry-specific knowledge and
expertise;
• Oversee the internal capacity building program, mentor and train
junior industry team members;
• Manage small team of local analysts;
• Coordinate industry level quality assurance program;
• Participate in database framework development and research
innovation for industry team;
• Participate in client specific projects;
• Respond to industry or company-specific inquiries from investors;
• Build and maintain strong relations with companies, external
networks and content specialists;
• Contribute to the development of intellectual capital and thought
leadership through report-writing and public-facing activities; and
• Travel 5-10%.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Master degree in related discipline (business, finance, economics
and/or environment);
• 5-7 years work experience in a related field;
• Solid knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry
(banking, diversified financial services, real estate and or
insurance) and the SRI/RI market;
• Demonstrated passion for sustainability;
• Strong research and analytical skills;
• Resourceful and independent;
• Client focused;
• Experience writing independent thought leadership pieces; and
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistics skills.
