Facilitators – 6 posts – Save the children
Reporting to the MCHN Coordinator, the position holder will be responsible for
assisting the MCHN Coordinator in ensuring that implementation of MCHN
interventions reaches the targeted house
hold/beneficiary. The post holder
will be working very closely with HSAs in the allocated catchment area to build
capacity of the Health Promoters. The MCHN Facilitator will also assist
the MCHN Coordinator in collecting relevant data from community groups, structures
to feed into monthly and quarterly planning and reporting. She/he will be
responsible for collecting success stories from communities for sharing at
sector as well as project level. The MCHN Facilitator will take leading
role in facilitating the establishment of community health and nutrition
structures which will be used in implementation of MCHN project interventions.
In the absence of promoter, the MCHN Assistance will be responsible for
facilitating the Care Group sessions and ensure that all
care group activities are done accordingly.
Applicants should possess a Diploma in Nutrition, Public Health or equivalent
with not less than 4 yrs relevant work experience in an NGO setting
