Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer the position is
responsible for ensuring that emerging financial, operational and reputational
risks are identified at an early stage and advising Senior management,
including the Board, on appropriate risk mitigation. The role is

Risk identification and highlighting critical high risk arise
within the Bank’s operations, Promoting and driving delivery of risk,
compliance and anti-money laundering procedures, Identification and analyzing
areas of potential risk to the success of the organization, Ensuring adherence
to all statutory regulatory requirements to ensure compliance, Providing
specific frontline risk monitoring of key projects and initiatives, Conducting
routine checks to ensure procedures, guidelines and limits are adhered to
within the Bank’s operations, Promoting and driving delivery of risk,
compliance and anti-money laundering procedures, Identification and analyzing
areas of potential risk to the success of the organization, Ensuring adherence
to all statutory regulatory requirements to ensure compliance, Providing
specific frontline risk monitoring of key projects and initiatives, Conducting

A minimum of a degree in a business related field such as
Accountancy, Banking and Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Must have
professional qualification in accountancy such as ACCA or CIMA, Must also
possess a Masters degree any of the following disciplines: Accounting, Risk
Management, Finance or Banking, Those with CIB qualification will have an added
advantage, A minimum of 5 yrs experience managing risk in a financial
institution at a senior management level, Good understanding of the banking
environment
