Reporting to the Head of design in the Capability team you will ensure the
maintenance and continuous improvement of the overall Rotary Wing Engineering
Management System framework supporting the respective Chief Engineers/Senior
Design Engineer, including commonality between the platforms in order to
realize synergies where appropriate and identification and development of
competency requirement

Governmental Helicopters.
The
responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

- Establishing
and overseeing a Rotary Wing EMS harmonisation project by
establishing and planning to achieve commonality expressed in terms of
KPI’s, - Establish
and execute, in agreement with RW CENG’s and AEO Quality Management, an
annual AEO audit schedule acceptable to Commonwealth of Australia, - Develop
and, in consultation with CENGs and EPMs, oversee execution of an annual
EMS training plan, - Assess
with CENGs, EPMs and IPT leads, on a quarterly basis the skill sets
available and needed for development and succession planning. Assist in
recruitment in order to maintain balance in teams, - Monitor
for (proposed) regulation changes and manage impact assessments.
To
be successful for this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in an
appropriate engineering related discipline. You will have at least 10 years
experience in an Australian Defence Force AEO environment. Ideally you
will have a Chartered Professional Engineer registration.
