HR Policy Formulation – take a lead role in the formulation of the
company’s HR policies to effectively manage and utilize the company’s human
resources in line with the company’s strategic goals and objectives, Management

on, Management of HR Records –
Develop and maintain HR record systems in accordance with current employment
legislation, Management of the Company’s benefits structure – Manage and
monitor the organisation’s salary and wage structure and benefits provision to
ensure balance between cost control, attraction and retention of quality
people, Participating in Remuneration Surveys – Participating in remuneration
surveys and providing strategic direction on compensation, recruitment,
selection, placement and retention of key people, Performance management –
Administering performance management process and provide direction on
management of the outcome
And serve as a liaision between employees and Insurers or Broker,
Monitor changes in the legal environment, Advice management on changes in legal
requirements and statutory regulations affecting employment laws, policies and
practices in Malawi, Health, Safety, Environment and Hygiene, Ensure that the
company adheres at all times to the strictest health, safety, environment and
hygiene standards, maintain health and safety compliance and develop injury
prevention plan and HR Planning – In consultation with line managers, develop
immediate and long term HR planning strategies, HR Management – Mentor and
supervise departmental staff through provision of timely feedback to ensure
that staff achieve the highest level of professional growth and desired
performance standards

At a minimum, a Bachelors Degree in Human Resource or a relevant
discipline

At least 10 yrs human resource management experience, preferably
gained in a busy corporate environment, Experience in conducting performance
management, job grading and restricting will be an added advantage, Senior
management experience in the insurance environment will be an added advantage
