RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Collection and analysis of benthic data
– Stream flow measurements
– Surface Water quality sampling
– Groundwater monitoring
– Compiling and summarizing water resources data
– Other duties as assigned
CONDITIONS
OF EMPLOYMENT:
Duration: 16 weeks
Start Date: May 4, 2015
40 hours per week
Note: duration & start date is tentative and dependent on availability of
funding
Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Diploma or Degree program in Environmental Sciences,
Ecosystem Management, Fish & Wildlife, Biology, Ecology, Geography or
related field.
– Between the ages of 15 and 24, or up to 29 with a disability
– Valid drivers license and eligible to work in Canada
– Able to work with minimal supervision
– Must be willing to work outdoors and in adverse environmental conditions
