The successful
candidate must be capable of:

third parties to provide and get information in a proper diligent manner

and providing information

re-prioritizing work due to unplanned events and/or urgent requests for work

Intense
concentration on a piece of work for several hours at a time

pressure, risk of interruption and reduced timelines

Assisting with the
production of detailed reports and/or documents.

Understanding the
objectives and requirements of projects managed by the Projects Portfolio Team

Working with others
who are working under pressure.

Must possess
excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) as you
will be working in a team environment and third parties like OPA and Utilities

Expertise and Knowledge:
  • Knowledge
    of project administration and documentation methods
  • Knowledge
    of data tracking and analysis concepts.
  • Knowledge
    of personal computers and personal computer software
  • Knowledge
    of file maintenance and report generation methods
  • Ability
    to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and
    suggest solutions
  • Ability
    to conduct informational sessions
  • Ability
    to communicate effectively: build consensus, facilitate working sessions,
    and negotiate solutions and alternatives
  • Ability
    to prepare detailed written instructions and documentation

Qualifications:
Experience: 
  • At
    least 2 years relevant work experience in project administration,
    providing services in the communication, consolidation, maintenance, and
    reporting of cross-project information
  • Familiarity
    with Solar PV projects is an asset
  • Familiarity
    with LDCs and OPA is an asset
  • Familiarity
    with the FIT Application Process is an asset
Education:
Possession of a University or College degree in
management, data processing, systems analysis or technical degree is an asset.
Tools:
  • Expertise
    in MS Excel required
  • Proficiency
    in MS Word, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint required
  • Experience
    using Project Management software is an asset
