Development Facilitator – Special Needs – Plan International – Mulanje Program
Area
Facilitate
communication during training for those adolescents with a range of
disabilities, During service delivery at static and outreach clinic services,
accompany health workers to the sites, Ensures that persons with disability are
mainstreamed in the project cycle through participating at every stage of the
project, (situation analysis, planning, implementation, monitoring and
evaluation) especially the 10-18 yrs old
s both girls and boys, Facilitate the
availability of user friendly manuals and IEC materials for those adolescents
with disabilities, Monitor and track ongoing project activities accessed by
adolescents with disabilities in the project area, Work closely with other
programs staff and facilitate mainstreaming of people with disabilities, With
likeminded organisations, facilitate advocacy for the rights of children with
disabilities, work closely with the person responsible for the project at the
partner level
Bachelor of
Education with special needs, Bachelor of Education and a Certificate in
Special needs (sign language and Braille etc) Have skills and interest in
working with children especially those with disabilities
