Technicians – 2 posts – AHL Chemicals and Steel Company Limited
Do any other duties
as signed from time to time, Be accountable for stocks of raw materials and
finished products, Check and maintain defined level of raw materials used in
production on assigned machinery, Manage safety of equipment and people, Be
able to do maintenance work on the machine, Operate and adjust production line
equipment, in accordance with established product standard, Ensure quality of
products is in accordance with established standards, Be involved in the day to
day running of the moulding machine
Minimum of Grade 1
Trade Test in El
ectrical or Mechanical Engineering, Those with diplomas in the
stated fields have an added advantage, A thorough understanding of blow
moulding and injection moulding, Good technical know how on the hydraulics,
pneumatics systems and sensors that go with the machines, Experience with
compressors, working with water chillers and cooling towers, Knowledge of
programmable logic controllers (PLC), Excellent report writing skills, 9 to10
yrs work experience preferred
