Founded in 1984, Collingwood is a co-educational school with 1,200 students
from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12, situated on two campuses in West
Vancouver.
Collingwood relies

e to communicate with parents, alumni families, prospective
students and friends of the School. We are seeking a webmaster with exceptional
experience producing leading-edge websites who can create code, fully-featured
web applications and engaging marketing initiatives. From responsive websites
to integrated social toolsets, we’re looking for a webmaster who can make our
communications stand out.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops
web pages and sites - Develops
cross platform desktop, mobile and/or responsive sites - Develops
cross platform mobile responsive emails - Accurately
translate designs from creative department to HTML/CSS - Experiments
with and evaluates new technologies - Facilitate/manage
Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and
implementation of online campaigns (AdWords, display ads, retargeting) - Drive
traffic to site through integrated campaigns, online branding tactics and
principles - Monitor
and analyze the performance of online programs through web metrics, web
trends and competitive analysis - Schedule
and execute regular email marketing campaigns and communications - Perform
day-to-day website content maintenance, helping to edit and/or improve
company standards for communication and design - Conceptualize
and design custom solutions that utilize CSS, JavaScript and HTML5.
Articulate creative vision for internal clients in both written and verbal
form - Operates
independently or as a member of a team as appropriate for individual
projects
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+
years-experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Expert-level
skills in HTML, CSS and PHP; Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite;
Working knowledge of Java or Python; Experience in UXD and testing;
Backend/frontend development and hosting and server maintenance
experience; Experience working with a Content Management System (CMS);
Google Analytics; An impressive design portfolio; Detail-oriented and able
to work effectively under deadlines in a fast paced environment; Passion
for designing clean, elegant, stunning designs - Internet
marketing experience, with advanced understanding of usability,
information architecture, web content optimization and online advertising - Excellent
written communication skills with proven content strategy development and
execution skills (portfolio required) - Experience
in coordinating direct email marketing programs - Skilled
multi-task oriented person with the ability to bring great ideas to life - Strong
interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with tight deadlines and
multi-task projects in an organized manner with attention to detail - Project
management and problem-solving skills, with ability to take directions
well and execute independently
