Hosken Site Steel (HSS) specialises in Fabrication
& Erection of Structural Steel. With the ongoing growth of the
company HSS currently have positions available for Boilermakers with extensive
onsite Structural Steel exp
erience to join our site team.
This is a great opportunity to
secure a position within a company that is working on a range of Brisbane’s
largest projects.
We are looking for a person who
is confident their skills and experience will satisfactorily comply with
requirements of the position. The following attributes are required:
- ability to work cohesively as a team player
- have the self-initiative and knowledge to work as an
individual on various tasks - an attitude, work ethic and ability to manage workloads
and deliver tasks/project works to set programmes - must have a strong focus on safe work practices and a
personal understanding of the importance of completing designated works to
the highest quality
Minimum qualifications
- Boilermaker Trade Certificate III (Heavy Fabrication)
- Dogman tickets
- Riggers Ticket (‘Basic’ qualification as a minimum)
- Working at Heights
- Current EWP 11m+
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- Construction Blue/White Card
Optional qualifications
- Intermediate/Advanced Riggers Ticket
- Slew Crane
- Forklift
Personal Accreditation
- Read and have a clear understanding of Structural,
Architectural and Shop (Set Out) Drawings
The successful candidate will be
employed under an existing Enterprise Agreement.
