Climate Smart Agriculture Field Supervisor – 2 posts 
The Position will be based in Chikwawa and report to the SMART
Agriculture Coordinator.
These positions will work closely with Agricultural Extension Development
Coordinators (AEDCs) AEDO and Lea

d Farmers in delivery of training and support
to Climate Smart Agriculture related activities. The Supervisors will
coordinate Programme implementation with the District Climate Smart Agriculture
Coordinator. They will be staying and living in the
Community to provide service and delivering on Project goals.

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for attaining and
    reporting field based targets
  • Provide
    and Coordinate training of Trainers to volunteer local leadership and community
    agents towards realization of Programme goals.
  • Mobilise
    community members and groups using PLA tools and implementing activities
    contained in Project document
  • Conduct
    post training supervision of all groups to improve communities equitable
    services
  • Conduct
    training needs assessment of groups through and designing capacity
    building plans with inputs from technical Coordinators to achieve Project
    results
Minimum Required  Qualifications and Experience:
  • Diploma in Agriculture or related
    field with minimum of 3 years work experience
  • Knowledge
    of community cultural contextual issues and extension is a MUST
  • Willing
    to live in the targeted community areas and be able
  • A good
    Community mobilizer with strong organisational skills
