Radio Planning and
Design Engineer (RF)- Airtel
Support corporate coverage requests, Support Site Share and Courtesy requests, Support
RF system introduction process, RF planning for Macro Network GSM/UMTS/LTE
and/or Indo
or Designs, Support the nominal planning, candidate selection and
site surveys up to site acceptance, Visit sites locations throughout the
country, Discuss solutions with Site Engineers, Negotiators and Landlords,
Create work orders in workflow management systems, Should have hands on
experience on CDD, ATND preparation for RAN network, Calculate and determine
network impact for coverage and capacity expansions, Evaluate (drive) test data
to identify performance issues, Recommend RF solutions and carrying out changes
to improve site performance
Specialised in RF Planning and Optimisation (GSM, UMTS, LTE), Familiar with RF
planning/mobile operator roll-out process, Experience in RF hardware
configurations and system updates/upgrades, Knowledge of common industry
propagation and planning tools e.g. Planet, dB Planner, Mapinfo, etc Very
experienced in Link budget calculation and validation, Strong analytical skills
to determine radio networks impact in changing environments, Safety training
(VCA, Working at heights)
University Degree (technical/telecommunications), Minimum of 5 yrs relevant
working experience in the RF planning field, Teamwork and collaboration, Results
orientation, Analytical and problem solving, Consulting, Facilitation and
Selling skills, General management and leadership qualities
