Senior Technical Advisor –
Lilongwe – National Office – mothers2mothers – 1 yr renewable subject to
funding and performance and are all national contract position subject to
Malawi statutory regulations
Serve as m2m malawi’s key
technical resource and reference, providing oversight, guidance and follow up
support on programme model design indicators of success, development and
implementation of work pla
ns, quality assurance activities and timelines, Lead technical
needs assessment, design project frameworks, provide technical guidance to the
m2m Malawi’s programme implementation team to achieve quality targeted results,
Lead conceptualisation and strategy development and assist with lessons learned
and findings, Serve as technical resource on research projects, Serve as
technical lead and support the writing of proposals and concept notes, Build
partnerships and support representation with donors and other strategic
stakeholders as needed
Masters Degree in Public Health
with 10 yrs of experience in evidence-based programming, Project management,
strategic planning and capacity building, ideally in public health, HIV and/or
international development
Demonstrated ability in
operations research, technical writing, and proposal development, Experience
working in multi-stakeholder environment, Demonstrated leadership, teambuilding
and decision-making skills, especially related to project/programme design and
implementation, Strong design and conceptualisation skills – able to think
creatively and systematically at all project levels, (goal, objectives,
activities, inputs), Proven ability to provide high quality technical
assistance and guidance to field staff, Ability to wok well under pressure,
manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines, Self-starter, team player and
results-orientated, Excellent communication and writing skill, Cultural
sensitivity and ability to effectively engage participants of different
cultures and backgrounds, Willingness to travel within Malawi region as well as
to m2m HQ when required
