District Manager 5 posts –
Lilongwe, Ntcheu, Thyolo, Chikhwawa and Nsanje – mothers2mothers – 1 yr
renewable subject to funding and performance and are all national
contract position subject to Malawi statutory regulations
Bachelors Degree/Diploma in
Public Health or Nursing Sciences, Minimum of 3 yrs experience in the field of
Public Health and/or NGO sector preferably, PMTCT/HIV/AIDS programme
experience,
Experince assisting/managing projects cycles, Good working
knowledge of relevant PMTCT protocols and policies in Malawi, Exposure working
with budgets and financial reporting, Academic or experiential background in
training and monitoring and evaluation, Experience with adult learning
approaches in community settings, Strong interpersonal, communication and staff
management skills, Problem solving, methodical and independent work ethic,
Computer literacy
Monitoring, Evaluation and
Reporting – Undertake regular visits, supervision and monitoring of designated
sites to ensure smooth running, effective programme implementation and field
staff support, Lead monthly site coordinators meeting , Ensure routine
collection, reporting, analysis and utilisation of monthly district data
Training/Capacity Building –
Assists the development of the capacity building/training plan for site m2m
staff, leads the logistical organisation of workshops and assists trainings as
requested by the PTM
Stakeholder Liaison – Represent,
develop an maintain good working relationships with regional and district
officers and partners, Collaborate with the District Ministry of Health (MOH)
and represent m2m at all district forums, Actively build and maintain district
relations on behalf of m2m Team Management, Financial and Administrative
Management.
