Full-time Vegetable Harvesters
Organization: Makaria Farm http://www.makariafarm.com

At Makaria Farm, we sell a wide selection of vegetables through our

fall.
If you like challenging yourself, this is the job for you. The work is
physically demanding, day after day, and is necessary in all kinds of

our harvest crew members manage to smile and laugh together. Maybe
it’s the potlucks.)

About us
Makaria Farm is a commercial-scale, organic vegetable farm located
just south of Duncan in the Cowichan Valley, on Vancouver Island in
British Columbia. We’ve been farming since 2008, and will grow 20-25
acres of crops in 2015. We value innovation, quality and
sustainability (both environmental and financial). We hire
hard-working people who can dedicate themselves to maintaining our
high standards and growing our farm business for a full season. We’re
especially keen on “intrapreneurs”: those who can master how things
are done in a business, and then innovate and improve on those
processes. For more information, please visit our About Us webpage.
