A full clean driving licence and willing to travel within the zone and once in
a while throughout the country, Management related
Bachelors Degree with bias
towards business/financial/training – a solid understanding of budgeting and
financial planning is essential, Knowledgeable about health care system as well
as have an experience with health sector in Malawi, Knowledge of computer
software programs such as Word, Power Point and Excel, Competence in both
written and verbal English and Chichewa, Excellent networking and interpersonal
skills as well as a great level of self-motivation, Be able to successfully recruit
staff and monitor performance, Ideally has experience in managing a business
and leading people, A strong understanding of how a business operates and has a
proven track record in demonstrating business acumen
Will be responsible for managing all operations within zone and hold a close
contact to other stakeholders within the ODG organisation, Will ensure that ODG
conforms to local laws and medical regulations, Will have regular contact with
ministries, health practitioners, opticians and other relevant stakeholders
within the Malawian health sector, Will have responsibility for personnel,
quality and financial aspects of the ODG operations, Will be responsible for
building a successful zonal sales network for ODG in SEZ and hold regular
contact to all relevant stakeholders
