PURPOSE

·                                
The Co-op Analyst will be part of a
team responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of the
Account Management Credit Risk Strategies for Canadian Banking (excluding
cards).
·                                
Will be given an opportunity apply
analytical skills and learn about credit risk management and risk strategy
development.  

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

·                                
Support the account management
strategy team and aid in analysis to identify new opportunities to develop or
enhance account management strategies supporting business targets
·                                
Become familiar with the data 
and data warehouse environment  used to develop Risk Strategies
·                                
Help create a comprehensive
dictionary of the data elements available for strategy development
·                                
Effectively work with the account
management strategy team and their partners such as Product Teams, Business
Segments, and Information Technology
·                                
Assist in conducting ad-hoc analysis
and aid in the preparation of analytical risk reporting
·                                
Become familiar with the Account
Management Strategy software (Probe SMG3) used within RBC

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Required:
·                                
Strong working knowledge of MS Office
Suite
·                                
Experience programing in SQL or SAS
·                                
Strong Analytical Skills
·                                
Experience in Statistics or Computer
Science
Preferred:
·                                
Knowledge or RBC products
