Mobisol’s proprietary solar home system (SHS) is capable of providing

Job Objective
The
Administration and HR Officer provides overall support to the Head of Human
resources in all HR and Administration related functions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB:
- Provide supervision to the
receptionist, office assistants and the cleaners and other support staff. - Oversees HR policies and procedures
for office, monitoring staff compliance with same. Annually review/revise
policies and procedure’s manual to ensure compliance. - Keep abreast of any changes in local
laws and regulations having an impact on HR policy and incorporate such
changes into the personnel manual as may be required. - Maintains personnel manual, reviewing
annually for accuracy and works with Head of HR to implement required and
recommended changes. - Communicating key information to
staff on behalf of Head HR. - Working closely with Head of HR to
keep track and implementing the HR needs of all countrywide Mobisol
offices. - Taking note and record of meetings of
the department and following them up. - Coordinate various employee relation
initiatives — i.e. recruitment, staff orientation, annual performance
assessments, exit interviews, etc. - In collaboration with the Head of HR;
coordinate the short-listing of candidates, interview scheduling and
ensure that interview guides and practical tests are prepared and shared
with the interview panel. - Manage and coordinate disciplinary
issues and serve on the grievances committee - Assist the Head of HR in the drafting
and signing of contracts and in collaboration with technical Heads and
HoDs, develop & update job descriptions and definition of
qualification and professional requirements for each position. - Ensures that visas, residential
permits, and other legal requirements of expatriate staff and consultants
are handled appropriately. - Coordinates, facilitates and/or
conducts training workshops to support staff on such topics as: supervisory
skills, performance assessments, effective interviewing, etc., as needed. - Organizes meetings, workshops, and
other events of Mobisol Rwanda Ltd. - Ensure development and implementation
of administrative and personnel,administering payroll and maintaining
employee records; - interpreting and advising on
employment law; - dealing with grievances and
implementing disciplinary procedures; - Prepare and maintain annual vacation
schedules. - Do other such roles as appropriate
for the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Being Rwandan by Nationality.
- At least Bachelor’s degree in HR
Management, Management, administration, public administration,
Organizational Psychology or related field. - At least 2-5 years’ experience
successfully providing progressively responsible HR and administrative
support. - Strong verbal and written
communication skills in English and - Proven strong skills in Microsoft
Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong work management skills:
ability to multitask, meet deadlines, self-manage - Proven strong attention to details
- Effectiveness at working with a
diverse team.
