looking for a full-time Digital
Engagement Advisor to join the Marketing.Media.Comm
unications (MMC) team
within United Way of Calgary and Area. Reporting to the Manager of Brand
Activation and Media, the role of Digital
Engagement Advisor is to develope and execute digital
engagement strategies, ensuring they are aligned with departmental,
organizational and industry standards and best practices.

Duties &
Responsibilities
- Co-develop and execute innovative digital engagement
strategy. - Collaborate and develop digital engagement campaigns for
United Way brands. - Review, analyze and present performance metrics.
- Collaborate to build organization wide editorial
calendar. - Daily management and monitoring of social media
accounts. - Create and currate content.
- Educate and support the organization on the use of
social media. - Seek to enhance knowledge and skills in digital
engagement.
Experience and Skills
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, digital
marketing, communications, or a similar program. - At least 3 years of experience in at least 3 of the
following: SEO, Social Media Marketing, Social/Community Management, Web
Analytics, Email
Marketing/CRM. - Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs an asset.
- Knowledge of philanthropy, corporate giving, CSR,
non-profit technology a plus. - Advanced knowledge of digital and social media
strategies, trends, tactics and tools such as content marketing, search
marketing and social marketing. - Proven ability to building and execute strategic digital
engagement campaigns. - Understand the intersection and integration of digital
engagement marketing with traditional marketing and communications. - Strong understanding of current and online engagement
marketing concepts, strategy and best practices. - Knowledge of web and social analytics software such as
Sprout Social, Google Analytics and Hoot Suite. - Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional
teams. - Excellent interpersonal, organizational and project
management skills and the ability to manage to compete priorities and meet
deadlines under pressure. - Strong analytical skills in order to resolve issues
and evaluate possible solutions. - Research cultivation practices to source and implement
innovative trends to maintain competitive. - Digital Advertising knowledge considered an asset.
