Sales Consultants – This is an officer level position and
is tenable at the Bank’s main service centres in Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu
Main purpose of the Job
Reporting to the Personal and SME
Banking Manger, the successful candidates will be responsible for the
achievement
of desirable growth in number of customers for the service centres
and management of customer’s financial and non-financial needs in line with the
Bank’s credit policy and service standards to retain them and maximize business
growth and profitability
Key Result Areas, among others,
will include : Delivering excellent customer services, Generating income from
interest margins by negotiating for competitive rates on assets and liabilities
on a regular basis to maximize interest revenue, Identifying lending needs of
existing and potential clients by assessing the business and their requirements
to grow the asset portfolio on daily basis, Cross-selling wide range of the
Bank’s products and services to existing potential customers, Mobilising
deposits for the PSME portfolio by visiting and calling clients on daily basis
to ensure adequate liquidity to meet the assets, Growing the service centre’s PSME
business through attraction of new customers and retention of existing
customers as per set target

A business related bachelors
Degree plus 3 yrs front line banking experience
