Salary Range: $34,744 – $40,400 (based on 4 days/week)
Job Type: Permanent Position (4 days/week)


Reports to: Executive Director

Job Summary:

EnviroCentre is seeking an experienced EA to manage and oversee a
diverse set of administrative support and office services for the
organization that includes office/facility management, human
resource/financial support and general administrative duties.

Job Duties:
• Prepare a variety of specialized and recurrent reports, Board
packages, briefing materials and other communications.
• Ensure accurate record keeping of corporate files, policies, records
and documents (electronic and hard copy).
• Administer Human Resource related functions including maintaining
personnel files, interpreting company HR policies, overseeing the
employee benefit plan and acting as a resource for employee
recruitment and new employee intake/orientation.
• Negotiate and manage facility-related service contracts and service
level agreements for third party suppliers and/or service providers,
including telecommunications and insurance.
• Manage inbound/outbound mail, including priority post, packages,
courier services and other correspondence.
• Manage the inventory and replenishment of office supplies,
stationary and equipment.
• Support the Accounting Department by carrying out various financial
activities such as mailing cheques and administering petty cash.
• Coordinate travel arrangements as well as other activities such as
meetings, workshops and events.
• Participate in internal EnviroCentre committees and activities which
support broader organizational objectives.
• Other duties as required.

Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills and Knowledge):
• Certificate/diploma in Business or Office Administration.
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in office
administration, executive support and human resources management.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Outlook and MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
• Strong knowledge of business management procedures, including
procurement, travel, human resources, etc.
• Bilingualism (English/French) a strong asset.
• Previous experience working with a Board an asset.
• A general understanding of sustainability and environmental issues.

Working Conditions:
• Small office environment with frequent computer use.
• May require attendance at offsite meetings.
• May require overtime.
