A relevant
qualification in Marketing (Bachelors Degree or IM) or equivalent, Minimum 5
yrs wokrign experience in the private sector particularly in sales or marketing
preferable, Some experience in the NGO sector will be an added advantage
Be part of a
resource mobilisation team with the aim
of raisin resources for DAPP social and
economic development project – especially within education, Lead a resource
mobilization team comprising 5 to deliver expected results and meet daily and
weekly goals, Arrange and implement meetings with the private sector/business
communities in Malawi, Organise events in relation to resource mobilization
Has a passion for
basic education in Malawi, Be ready to travel inside Malawi in town, cities as
well as rural areas in order to peform duties, Has very good communication skills,
Work accordfing to guidelines given, Has a positive attitude towards work and
to deliver results, Has mastered verbal and written English at a high level, Is
able to lead a team to meet deadlines, Is dynamic an dhas commercial drive, Has
strong leadership skills but is also a team player, Has a vast experience
within the private sector of Malawi as marketing manager – including experience
of handling social responsibility funds, Is familiar with the Malawi education
system including vocational training
