INPEX is looking for a Manager Application Operations to ensure the
availability, performance, and integrity of INPEX business applications by
managing cost effective and efficient application support and maintenance,
application transition, and functional support activities and processes within
IM&T. In performing this role the Manager Application Operations is
accountable for service management, customer / user satisfaction, and supplier
relationship management related to business applications.
Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to;
- Drive
down operational costs, implement consistent management processes, and be
ready for operations (of the LNG facilities). Ready for operations
includes CPF and FPSO sail away, commissioning of the Ichthys facilities,
ready for start-up, and start-up. - Assist
the Group Manager in developing the annual work programme and budget. - Manage
the relevant operating costs associated with the position’s area of
responsibilities. Provide expenditure forecast as and when required.
Remain within budget. - Identify
and implement continuous improvements and strategies that reduce
operational costs and inefficiencies while improving services. - Implement
strategies to improve the way in which services are delivered by vendors - Identify
and manage risks associated with application availability, performance,
and integrity - Ensure
risks are registered and senior IM&T and business personnel are kept
informed of risk status. - Use
standard INPEX risk management processes and tools as appropriate. - Contribute
to the continuous development and improvement of AMS as part of the AMS
leadership group. Identify areas of poor practice and work with
stakeholders to improve performance. - Proactively
seek out new and innovative services and technologies to improve the
delivery of services to the business. - Demonstrate
technical expertise with Relationship Management, Resource management,
Service management, Contract management, Supplier management, Transition
management, Application support management, Operations management, Change
management, Strategic planning, Process development and management,
Financial and commercial management. - Transform
application support area from reactive support to a managed and measured
service capability - Build
suitable capability to ensure application availability, performance and
integrity meet business requirements - Establish
and maintain a Support Plan for Operations Readiness - Set
and meet performance targets for speed, efficiency and resolution of
tickets - Ensure
compliance with the change management process to meet application
integrity requirements - Work
with solution delivery and portfolio delivery functions (within IM&T)
to ensure scheduled changes take place with little or no impact to the
business.
We are looking for a candidate with a degree qualification in IM&T or
related field.In addition, our ideal candidate will have the following
experience:
- Extensive
experience in managing IT teams - Demonstrated
success in leading teams aligned to a shared vision. - Previous
experience in the development, maintenance, and support of a large
portfolio of business applications within a growing organization - Excellent
understanding of program and service management methodologies - Experience
working at all levels across large organisation. - Strong
financial and commercial management experience - Strong
contract and vendor management experience
