UnitingCare Ageing NSW.ACT, the aged care ministry of the Uniting Church and a
Service Group of UnitingCare NSW.ACT is the single largest provider of aged
care services in NSW and the ACT.

We are revolutionising the way care is delivered through our Inspired Care
framework conferring with the ethos of the Uniting Church. Our fresh new
approach to care empowers choice and independence, facilitates relationships
and engagement, and strives to affirm life for all people especially those who
are older and vulnerable.

We have an immediate opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Support
Worker (Recreational Activities) to join our dynamic team
in Lilyfield on a permanent full-time basis.

We want someone who is innovative and can demonstrate through proven experience
the ability to engage and motivate clients through a range of recreational
activities that promote holistic well-being. This includes providing clients
with Inspired Care, and actively supporting them to maintain their skill level,
independence and mobility.

• Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle
• Ability to implement and lead recreational activities within a Day Centre
• Current Drivers License
• Experience as a Recreational Activities Officer
• Experience supporting clients with Dementia
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Community Aged Care Services
• Ability to work in a team environment and independantly
• Awareness of Work, Health & Safety (WHS) and risk management practices
• Basic computer literacy & Time Management skills
• Capacity to communicate electronically including mobile phone and email
