– Civil Society Education Coalition with funding from Cordaid and in
partnership with Ministry of Education and Ministry of Gender will be
implementing a 2 yr pilot project that aims to test an alternative for the
prevailing input-based financing. Applications are invited from qualified
candidates for the post of School Output Verification Officer
Qualification, Skills and Experience Requirement – A good team worker with
strong analytical skills,
Should have proven excellent oral and written
communication skills and be computer literate, Have better understanding of the
education sector, Fluency in Chichewa and those who are fluent in Yao will have
added advantage, Willingness to work and live in Mangochi, Should have motorbike-driving
skills and be willing to use the motorbike, Those with prior experience in BPF
or RBF are strongly encouraged to apply, Should have at least Diploma in
Education, Statistics, Community Development or Social Science or any other
related fields, Those with a Degree in related fields will have an added
advantage , Should have not less than 3 yrs experience of working in projects
or conducting research, A good team worker with strong analytical skills
and Responsibilities – Data collection and verification of achievement of
business plan indicators, Verification of school registers and absenteeism
lists of learners, Verification of payment invoices and counter-signing the
same with the headteacher, Analysing the invoice and submit the invoice using
internet or cloud computing, Monitoring and reporting of progress, achievements
and bottlenecks, Work in collaboration with the other members of the CDV team
and fill where necessary gaps that may occur
