Manager, Infrastructure 
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and
Electronics Engineering or any IT related field, 5 yrs technical and managerial
experience required at least 2 of which must be within the banking/financial
industry, Knowledge of the financial services industry, Knowledge of
management/leadership practices/people management/leadership and projects
management in particular, Knowledge of architectures of hardware and software
applicable to the banking industry

Direct and manage staff in the Infrastructure Unit,
including ensuring that the bank’s performance tracking and management
mechanisms are in effect, Ensure appropriate security control is maintained in
the data centres including all installed infrastructure and conduct periodic
reviews to ensure compliance, Ensure timely and efficient provision of
technical support by third party vendors to the Bank’s equipment e.g. ATMs,
telecommunication equipment and servers, Maintain acceptable environmental
conditions in the data processing centre at IT, the DR site and computer rooms
at branches, Take a leading role in ensuring that installations of
infrastructure and related systems are done on the production and DR systems in
line with Group standards, Facilitate the procurement of appropriate IT
equipment that would support the required service delivery to customers in line
with the bank’s development needs, Provide technical advice on new technology
that is appropriate to banking services and ensure implementation of solutions
that meet requirements, Ensure that appropriate electronic delivery channels
are available to the branch network and that timely technical support is
provided, Analyse system issues and ensure that appropriate technical support
is provided in line with the Service Level Agreements
Strong management and problem solving skills, Ability
to coordinate the work of others, ability to meet multiple concurrent tight
deadlines, Leadership ability, supervisory skills and ability to coach, mentor
and develop staff, Written and verbal communication skills, strong
interpersonal presence, and a proven track record of using those abilities to
educate and influence others
