JOB DESCRIPTION:

General Summary:

Manage sales of the company’s products and services
within a defined geographic area. Ensure consistent, profitable growth
in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management
of sales personnel. Identify objectives, strategies and action plans
to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Meet or exceeds area sales goals through the training, coaching and
managing of sales associate staff.
• Motivate and coach sales associates to meet or exceed goals.
• Recognize sales associate performance and motivate sales associates
to improve sales and customer service.
• Recruit, interview, select and retain quality sales associates and
ensure all positions are filled in a timely manner.
• Provide effective coaching to improve performance of sales associates.
• Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales associates
team through a system of reports and communications involving sales
reports, and regular sales meetings.
• Creating an environment where customer service can flourish.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales to establish and recommend
the most realistic sales goals for the company.
• Manage assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenues and
meet corporate objectives.
• Establish and manage effective programs to compensate, coach,
appraise and train sales associates.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have door-to-door canvassing experience
• Must be able to lead and manage teams of up to 20 sales associates
• 5 years sales experience
• Well organized
• A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred;
or a minimum of five years of related experience.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance
and market trend information. Proven ability to motivate and lead the
sales team.
• Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Must have a reliable car and a valid driver’s license.

COMPENSATION:
• Base plus a very generous commission.
