Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT), is seeking a dedicated and energetic
individual for this full-time position. Magnus Theatre is a dynamic and
progressive organization that operates out of a beautiful designated heritage
building located in Thunder Bay. Its mission is to develop and sustain live
theatre with integrity and responsibility. The company is currently in its 43rd
season and operates an intimate 235 seat state-of the-art theatre facility. For

Reporting to the volunteer Board of Directors, the successful candidate will
work with the Artistic Director in an effective management partnership,
directing the company through policy implementation. Key Responsibilities
include: – Administrative Leadership and Strategic Planning – Financial
Management – Fundraising, Fund Development and Community Engagement –
Government Grant Support

Qualifications:
- A
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Minimum 3 years of management
experience in the non-profit sector and/or arts organization; - 5+
years accounting experience; - Excellent
writing and communication skills; - IT
knowledge including network administration; - Experience
with contract negotiation and Artist agreements (CAEA, ADC, PGC),
Microsoft Office, Adagio and Theatre Manager software, demonstrated
fund-raising experience as well as a passion for the arts are considered
assets.
