HR Generalist / Recruiter

recruiter. You will be in charge of staffing the company with talented
and intelligent employees to create a team that will help grow the company. Our

In a nutshell, we are looking for
superstars; Hard-working, intelligent and ambitious people who are looking to
grow with a company. Your job as the recruiter would be to seek out and
identify these people and have a constant pipeline to present to management.

Duties include:
- Work
with department managers to develop/update job descriptions to determine
hiring needs - Attract
applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters,
educational and professional institutions; and utilizing internet job
sites. This will be an ongoing process as the company wants this
individual to network at industry conferences, events, and etc..
Essentially this individual will act as a recruiting agency within
the business, always looking for new talent and build a database of
applicants. - Screen
candidate applications to ensure their qualifications meet the position
requirements - Conduct
telephone interviews to evaluate applicant skills, abilities and
availability - Administer
and score screening tests - Obtain
and check references - Other
General HR duties as required, (termination letters, administer benefits,
etc.) (CARLO, you need to expand this a bit)
Qualifications:
- Minimum
3– 5 years recruitment experience - Excellent
organizational skills, along with strong technical skills (Excel,
PowerPoint, Word, Access). - Outstanding
sourcing skills and ability to leverage current recruitment technology. - Experience
working in a fast paced environment with the ability to adjust quickly to
change. - Possess
strong written and oral communication skills - HR
designation or equivalent designation/education is an asset - Past
experience working at a recruitment firm an asset
