Position Description
The Program Coordinator, Youth Learning, will work
directly with, and report to, the Director, Youth Learning. This role inclues
significant support to the Economic Opportunities for Youth (EOY) and the Youth
Education teams, as well as other Foundation staff. Successful candidates will

The Program Coordinator, Youth Learning will support a
range of activities across the Foundation including, but not limited to, the
following: Provide Administrative Support to the Director, Youth Learning

- Manage day to day calendar.
- Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Assist with special projects requested by the
Director. - Assist with budget preparation.
- Facilitate other administrative processes as
needed.

- Coordinate logistics of project meetings and
events including scheduling and hosting of external guests. - Support senior management and the Youth Learning
team including contributions to meeting materials, project-related
activities, partner relationship management (as relevant) and internal
program and foundation-level coordination. - Facilitate internal communication within the team
and across the Foundation. - Provide administrative support to the team as
needed including travel support (i.e. visa acquisition). - Create, maintain and update the organization of
files and records. - Other duties as required to advance program
activities.
Provide Programming Support to the Youth Learning Team
- Undertake special projects as needed in the areas
of program research, knowledge and learning. - Provide support to meet the data needs of program
staff within a variety of program areas, to enable more effective
cross-departmental programming - Provide program management and/or portfolio
support to the team as required. Contribute to the Implementation and
Upkeep of the Knowledge Management/ Evaluation System - Lead departmental document migration onto
SharePoint. - Maintain GIFTS ALTA data entry.
- Maintain organization of the shared network
drives. - Represent the team on all Knowledge Management
related initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- University degree in relevant subject matter such
as International Development. - Minimum two years administrative and/or relevant
work experience. - Demonstrated interest in international
development, youth learning and/or philanthropic initiatives. - Experience in an international position with
exposure to emerging markets, Sub- Saharan Africa preferred. – Preference
will be given to an individual who has had exposure to youth learning. - Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated
ability to handle multiple tasks. - Strong project management skills.
- Strong research, analysis and writing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a sense of
humor, exhibiting grace under pressure. - Proactive and engaged with an ability to thrive
in an environment of change.

- Flexible, adaptable, and able to effectively
execute a range of job duties. - Ability to work both independently and as part of
a team. - Strong English communication skills; written and
spoken. French would be an asset - Advanced proficiency with Microsoft office
including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
