Salary Range: $35,000 – $45,000 commensurate with skills and experience
Job Type: Temporary Full-time Position – 3 month contract

Reports to: Manager, Energy Retrofits and Client Support

Position Summary:

EnviroCentre is an Ottawa-based, non-profit organization which helps
individuals, families an

d organizations conserve energy, save money
and reduce their impact on the environment. We have an immediate
opening for a bilingual and highly professional client support
specialist to provide a high level of customer service to EnviroCentre
clients at all times while striving to achieve business targets
through superior telephone and communications skills. This position
will be also be responsible for handling general inquiries, placing
accurate orders, processing invoices and referring escalated calls to
the appropriate representative. Integrity, vision, professionalism and
passion are key components of this position and other duties may be
assigned as necessary.

Job Duties:
• Answer calls professionally.
• Respond to customer inquiries.
• Research required information using available resources.
• Provide customers with product and service information.
• Enter customer information.
• Maintain customer databases.
• Process orders, forms and applications.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints.
• Identify and escalate priority issues.
• Route calls to appropriate resource.
• Follow up customer calls where necessary.
• Complete call logs.
• Produce call reports.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.

Requirements (skills and experience):
• 2 – 5 years’ experience in Customer Service preferred.
• Bilingualism (English/French)
• A general understanding of sustainability and environmental issues
• Understanding of Building Envelope an asset
