exciting Full Time opportunity for a News Anchor/Reporter at our studio in
Camrose Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for anchoring
morning newscasts Monday to Friday, as well as reporting including City Council
coverage in Camrose. If you have an optimistic, energetic and engaging

Responsibilities:
• On-Air
News/Sports/Weather Monday to Friday, plus filling in where needed.
• Gathering and writing local news/sports stories and contributing those
stories to our local newswire and Newcap’s national newswire.
• Conducting interviews of local newsmakers.
• Reporting, including City Council Meetings when applicable.
• Being part of an amazing Newcap staff and the outstanding community of
Camrose Alberta.
Required skills and qualifications:
• A minimum 5 years
of Radio News On-Air/Writing/Gathering/Interview/Reporting experience
• Knowledge of Newsroom 4.5.
• Working with Social Media including Twitter and Facebook.
