Adam
Smith International (ASI) is a global advisory company that specialises in
providing economic growth and government reform advice to a range of
government, private sector, civil society and development agency clients in
developing and low middle income countries. Our mission is to apply our
consulting skills towards improving the quality of life for the citizens of
countries facing the need for economic, political and social change.

The
company is over 20 years old and we operate from four main offices in Sydney,
London, Delhi and Nairobi. We have an excellent reputation for quality,
innovation and impact with development agencies including AusAID, DFID, the
World Bank, Sida, the ADB and the EBRD. We have worked at all stages of the
project cycle from scoping and design, to implementation and evaluation. We
have implemented both short and long-term projects in 80 countries worldwide.
In
early 2012 we established a new Australian subsidiary to further enhance our
ability to deliver high impact programs for AusAID. We now wish to expand our
networks of advisers with an excellent performance history on AusAID-funded
programs and particularly those with experience in South East Asia and the
Asia- Pacific region. Specifically we are seeking advisers with the following
expertise from AusAID-funded programs:
  • Rural
    development and food security
  • Law
    and justice sector reform
  • Mining
    policy, regulation and administration
  • Governance
  • Infrastructure
  • Monitoring
    and evaluation
  • Team
    leaders and Facility directors
  • Operations
    managers
