Luminato Festival is

celebrating theatre, dance, music, literature, food, visual arts, magic, and

Luminato is currently looking for a knowledgeable and confident Office and HR
Manager to support the V.P. Finance & Administration in the areas of
organization administration and human resource management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee and manage
the general administration of the organization including supplier
relationships, leases, contracts, resource planning and coordination.
• Review and refine office systems, policies and procedures
• Maintain office efficiency including information and communication systems,
supplies and resources.
• Oversee the human resource function within the organization including payroll
processing, maintaining staff records, compliance, training and performance
management.
• Payroll processing and maintenance of employee files ensuring confidentiality
• Develop or review organizational employment policies to ensure compliance
with relevant workplace legislation (eg. Occupational Health & Safety,
Employment Standards Act, AODA, etc.)
• Facilitate and assist with annual recruitment process ensuring consistency of
communications and procedures across departments and with the organization’s
policies.
• Administer and coordinate new and seasonal staff onboarding and end of
contract off-boarding.
• Lead and manage the development and maintenance of appropriate employee
training and team building program including education on the organization’s
employment policies
• Administer and coordinate annual performance reviews providing support and
guidance to supervisors as needed.
• Resource to management and employees on work related issues eg. compensation
related issues, benefit inquiries, employee relations, performance management
and best practices.
Requirements:
• Post-secondary
education
• Certification and/or relevant work experience in human resource management
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Advanced knowledge of current and relevant workplace legislation
• Training or experience in health and safety
• Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal relations skills
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues
• Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize and adapt well to
change
• Confident, consistent and decisive personality
• Strong sense of ethics and integrity
