As our Programming Coordinator – Based in Winnipeg, MB, you will:
- Offer
creative support to the Manager of Programming – Central Region in
maintaining creative quality on original programming from producers in
Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and the Northwest Territories - Review
project proposals to ensure all required documents are received - Assist
with drafting licensing agreements - Screen
rough/fine-cuts and review digital media deliverables in various stages of
all APTN licensed productions - Read
and assess scripts and provide written reports with recommendations - Ensure
that all deliverables arrive according to licence agreement and follow up
when overdue - Facilitate
planning of key promotables with other APTN departments - Ensure
quality of the masters meet technical requirements and follow up on any
tape fault reports
You bring:
- Post
secondary education in a relevant discipline with proven, related
experience - Intimate
knowledge of all aspects of television and digital-media productions
including financing and industry trends - Ability
to assess and provide feedback and/or recommendations to ensure that
programs content delivers to audience expectations - Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge
of an Aboriginal language or French considered an asset
