Our client has cultivated an exceptional client base comprised of national and
international companies. A new role exists for a high calibre Trade Mark lawyer
to join the firm’s collaborative team, based either in Sydney or Melbourne.
Are you seeking to work as part of a collegiate and successful trade mark team
where you can progress in your career towards a leadership position? This is
the role for you.
The successful applicant will join an experienced, national team of trade mark
lawyers, where you will advise a stable of blue-chip clients on the full range
of trade mark matters including:
– Filing and prosecuting trade mark applications
– Assignments and licensing
– Searching and watching
– Infringement and validity advice
– Oppositions
– Portfolio management and renewals
– Oppositions, due diligence, litigation and dispute resolution
– Commercialisation advice and assistance.
Ideally, you will be an Associate or Senior Associate in your current role with
a recognised trade mark practice, and will have demonstrated skills in training
and mentoring junior attorneys, excellent technical skills in trade mark law
and outstanding client relationship building skills. You will be admitted as a
lawyer and will have a strong academic background.
